A young man is accused of killing his father; the evidence indicates
his guilt. On a sweaty summer day in a New York jury room, eleven jury
members vote guilty. But Juror #8 (Henry Fonda) has his doubts about
this supposedly airtight case. As he shares his ideas, the meaning of
the case and the integrity of the jury system come under close
scrutiny. This tense 1956 drama, directed by Sidney Lumet, also stars
E.G. Marshall, Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, and Jack Klugman.
