Arrow Film plant anscheinend für den 28. März 2011 eine Blu-ray-Veröffentlichung von Henri-Georges Clouzots Thriller-Klassiker "Die Teuflischen / Les Diaboliques" [F 1955]. Zumindest bei amazon.co.uk ist die Disc bereits mit diesem Termin gelistet.

Die Blu-ray wird nun am 18. April 2011 erscheinen. "Brand new High Definition transfer of the film from a new restoration of the original negative" hört sich schon mal gut an. Hoffentlich vermasselt es sich Arrow Films nicht wieder mit der Kompression und eventuellen DNR-Filtern. Bei einigen ihrer letzten Veröffentlichungen soll dies ja der Fall gewesen sein.

Das Geheimnis ist gelüftet. Der Grafiker hat den äußeren schwarzen Rand der "Spirits of the Dead"-Veröffentlichung inklusive des 18er-Logos übernommen und dann das "Les diaboliques"-Motiv eingefügt. "Les diaboliques" hat in GB eine Freigabe ab 12.
