Wenn die Bildqualität so gut wie bei der Kinowelt-DVD ausfällt, bringt Second Sight am 30. Juli 2008 das definitive DVD-Set von Peter Weirs "Picnic at Hanging Rock" auf den Markt. Neben dem bereits auf mehreren DVDs erhältlichen kürzeren Director's Cut des Films wird das britische Set erstmals die ursprüngliche Kinofassung auf DVD enthalten.
